I am a psychologist by training, a personal coachby choice. After 28 years of professional experience as an activeand reserve military officer, a school and clinical psychologist,entrepreneur, business owner, nonprofit founder (President andCEO), college professor, author, national consultant, and internationaland national workshop presenter, I am now energized to apply thisbreath of knowledge and experience to that of executive and professionalcoaching.
Being a mentor to my staff and colleagues has been rewarding andfulfilling to me personally. I’ve valued being mentored and valuethe mentoring process. My vision of being a coach is reflectedin my business name, The Encouragement Place. My logo reflectshelping hands -- a joining or partnering – with the rainbow toreflect encouragement.
